Q: Why is NETS discontinuing the NETS Gift Card Programme?
A: NETS continually assesses its product and services to offer convenience and value to NETS customers. From time to time, we may develop or stop products to cater to the needs of the market for payment options.
   
Q: Can I buy a NETS Gift Card?
A: From 1 March 2009, NETS Gift Cards are not available for sales and distribution in the market.
   
Q: Can I continue using NETS Gift Card for payment?
A: From 9 May 2009, NETS merchants will cease to accept NETS Gift Card as a mode of payment.
   
Q: Can I get a refund on my NETS Gift Card?
A: After the product is ceased from 9 May 2009, cardholders with non-expired cards can make a refund of the outstanding balance in your card. Please call NETS Sales & Customer Service Hotline at (65) 6274 1212 or visit NETS Sales & Customer Service Centre for enquiry:

Q: How do I get back my refund?
A: You can get your refund at NETS Sales & Customer Service Centre, we will check the validity, expiry date and outstanding balance of your NETS Gift Card. If your card is valid and not expired, we will refund the outstanding amount to you. NETS will send a cheque of the outstanding balance to your mailing address or credit into your participating bank account. Please allow 14 working days for us to process the refund.
   
Q: What should I bring for the refund?
A: You should bring your non-expired NETS Gift Card, NRIC, and provide us with your Bank Account Number, Account Name and mailing address for the refund.
   
Q: Can I authorize someone to refund on my behalf?
A: Yes, the person needs to bring the non-expired NETS Gift Card, Letter of Authorization, NRIC, and provide us with a Bank Account Number, Account Name and mailing address for the refund.
   
Q: How do I know if the NETS Gift Card is already expired?
A: We can help you check the validity of your card when you bring your card to our NETS Sales & Customer Service Centre. Alternatively, you can call us our Call Customer Service Hotline at (65) 6274 1212 and provide us with the card number. We will help you check the validity of the card.
   
Q: Can I get a refund without going down to NETS Sales & Customer Service Centre?
A: Unfortunately you cannot. We need to check the validity and determine the balance on your NETS Gift Card. For us to process the refund, we will need to retain and keep the card.
   
Q: How & when can I receive my payment for my refund?
A: The amount will be credited in your stated bank account or you will receive your cheque in the mail within 14 working days.
