Please note that this process may involve multiple merchant acquirers, so we kindly ask for your patience while we look into the matter. Once the new SGQR label is ready, your most recent merchant acquirer will contact you to deploy it, which will replace the multiple SGQR labels. Thank you for your kind understanding.

Terms and Conditions

The Singapore Quick Response Code (SGQR) scheme is co-owned by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). The SGQR scheme owners have appointed Banking Computer Services (BCS) as the operator of SGQR to provide related services to the SGQR scheme owners and the SGQR community. 

All information submitted in this form will be verified by BCS. Submissions without a valid SGQR ID will not be processed. Once the information has been verified, BCS will communicate your report to your merchant acquirer(s). You may be contacted for further information. Your relevant merchant acquirer will handle the resolution and liaise with you further. 

BCS does not have any control over and expressly disclaims all liability for and in connection with the acts or omissions of your merchant acquirer(s).

By using the form, you allow BCS to share your information and incident report with the SGQR scheme owners and your merchant acquirer(s).

FAQs

You might have more than one SGQR label because of these reasons:

  • One of your merchant acquirers may have given wrong or outdated information to the SGQR Central Repository.
  • You moved your business to a new place without informing your merchant acquirers.

Please complete the form above to report the extra SGQR label. Your latest merchant acquirer will contact you to replace the label with a new SGQR label.

Yes, you can have one SGQR label for each point-of-sale at the same business location.

If you prefer not to use the form, you can contact your preferred merchant acquirer to resolve the issue of multiple SGQR labels. Simply reach out to them and they will be able to assist you.

You do not need to report if your SGQR labels are registered under different companies or UENs.

Your latest merchant acquirer will contact you to replace your multiple SGQR labels with a single SGQR label.

As the process may involve multiple merchant acquirers, it may take up to 2 months for you to get the new SGQR label.

To avoid getting multiple SGQR labels for your point-of-sale, provide your SGQR ID (located on the top right corner of your current label) to the merchant acquirer(s) that you engage in future. This will help the merchant acquirer(s) to properly set up your account and prevent multiple SGQR labels.

BCS is the Operator of the SGQR Central Repository. BCS is providing the information required by the merchant acquirers to resolve issues of multiple SGQR labels.
