NETS appoints technology veteran, Saw Choo Tatt as CEO of NETS Solutions
Singapore, 18 April 2024 – Network for Electronic Transfers (NETS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Saw Choo Tatt as CEO of NETS Solutions Pte Ltd, with effect from 8 April. NETS Solutions Pte Ltd is a subsidiary of NETS, serving central banks, financial institutions and payment providers with innovative solutions to enable more efficient and secure transactions. The subsidiary is responsible for building payment, clearing and settlement systems including Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) System and Cheque Truncation System (CTS).
With a career spanning over 28 years, Mr Saw has a proven track record in the technology field. He previously held the position of Global Chief Information Officer at INSEAD, where he led the institution’s technology strategy across campuses in France, Singapore, San Francisco, and Abu Dhabi. During his tenure, Mr Saw was a key member of INSEAD’s global Crisis Management Team, ensuring business continuity by harnessing technology capabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was instrumental in advocating alignment of digital strategy to the institution’s long-term strategy and was a key member of the Dean’s institutional strategy refresh team in 2023.
Prior to INSEAD, he was with GIC Pte Ltd in Singapore for over 20 years, where he held key roles including Head of Business Competency Centre and oversaw the delivery of technology solutions to GIC’s business units. Mr Saw also previously served as Head of Unified Comms and Tech Infra. From 2015 to 2018, concurrently as the Deputy Director for Technology, he played a lead role in the conceptualisation and implementation of a strategic Data and Technology Master Plan for GIC.
In his new role, Mr Saw will steer NETS Solutions towards becoming the premier Service & Development Centre for the NETS Group. His appointment underscores NETS’ commitment to innovation and excellence in payment solutions.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and has completed the Stanford Executive Programme from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
